Getting there

The Balconies is a natural sandstone cliff lookout in the Grampians National Park in Western Victoria. The drive is about 30 minutes from Halls Gap over the top of the mountain range to the west side.

Best times for photography

The view faces the North West so the best light will be at sunset. There are 2 viewing platforms with the one closer to the balconies offering the best composition for photography.

*Bonus tip. The best composition is found just a few meters to the left of the closer viewing platform.
