Thank you for choosing Will Faulkner Photography for your business headshots. The information below is designed to help you prepare for your headshot session so that I can deliver the best possible product for you.
Clothing and make up recommendations:
Male: Smart pressed suits, with or without a tie, no vibrant colour ties, pastel blue, pastel pink or white shirts. If you are prone to perspiration please bring extra clothing.
Female: Smart suit or blouse, please avoid older cardigans or creased clothing. Pastel or vibrant colours are acceptable but vibrant red is not recommended. Light make up is better than heavy make up. Too much foundation will make you look too white under the lights. Rest assured that any skin imperfections will be removed in photoshop.
Timing per shot: Please allow 10 minutes per person including selecting your preferred shot. All lighting will be set and in place ready for you.
Posture: You will be directed by myself on how to pose on the day. You will see your photos live on a laptop and we can take as many as we need until you are happy.
Retouching: Selected images will be retouched prior to delivery, this will include stray hairs, shadows lifted, pimples and temporary imperfections removed. If you have special retouching requirements for scars or other similar details please notify us and I will be happy to accommodate these.
Files supplied: A link to a Google drive folder will be emailed to you within 2 business days. Here you can review your files for any final edit requests. You can choose your preferred files by notifying me of the file name. Files will be supplied as full resolution jpegs and smaller web resolution jpegs at 2000px long edge with a 4×6 crop.
Notes: If there are any subjects that are particularly nervous or uncomfortable being photographed please arrange the schedule that those subjects are at the end of the shoot or in a separate batch as they may feel more uncomfortable in a group or with other members of staff watching. If you have any special requests please contact your photographer in advance of the shoot.
