HEADSHOT & PORTRAIT SESSION SESSION CALL SHEET

Thank you for booking your headshot session with Will Faulkner Photography. This guide will help you prepare so we can create the best possible images for you.

WHAT TO WEAR

General Guidelines:

  • Solid colors work best – avoid busy patterns, logos, or text
  • Bring pressed, wrinkle-free clothing
  • Bring 2-3 outfit options if you’re unsure

Recommended Colors:

  • Blues, grays, charcoal, black, and pastels photograph well
  • Avoid pure white (can overexpose) and very bright reds (can appear oversaturated)

Style:

  • Business professional: What you’d wear to an important client meeting
  • Suits, blazers, button-down shirts, blouses, smart casual

Tips:

  • If you tend to perspire, bring an extra shirt
  • Wear glasses if you normally wear them
  • Remove bulky items from pockets

HAIR & MAKEUP

Makeup (if applicable):

  • Natural, light makeup works best
  • Heavy foundation can appear too pale under studio lighting
  • Bring makeup for touch-ups if needed

Hair:

  • Style as you normally would for work
  • Bring a comb/brush for touch-ups

WHAT TO BRING

ON THE DAY

What to Expect:

  • I’ll guide you through posing and expressions
  • You’ll see your images on screen in real-time
  • We’ll take as many shots as needed until you’re happy
  • Allow approximately 10-15 minutes per person for teams

AFTER YOUR SESSION

1. Proof Gallery (48 hours)

You’ll receive a link to view all unedited proofs within 48 hours. Review the gallery and select your favorite images.

2. Image Selection (14 days)

Choose your preferred images within 14 days. If no selection is made, I’ll choose the best images on your behalf.

3. Final Delivery (24-48 hours)

Final retouched images delivered via Google Drive download link (active for 30 days)

RETOUCHING INCLUDED

All final images include professional retouching:

  • Smooth skin tones and even complexion
  • Remove temporary blemishes, flyaway hairs, and shine
  • Adjust lighting and color for optimal results
  • Natural-looking results that still look like you

Special Requests? If you have specific retouching needs (scars, tattoos, etc.), please let me know in advance.

FILE FORMATS

You’ll receive high-resolution JPEGs suitable for:

  • LinkedIn and social media profiles
  • Business websites and email signatures
  • Business cards and marketing materials
  • Print (up to poster size)

PAYMENT

  • Deposit: 50% required to secure booking (if applicable)
  • Balance: Due on day of image delivery
  • Payment methods: Bank transfer (details on invoice)
